Product Overview
The LX-PV intelligent photovoltaic lightning protection combiner box combines the DC input of up to 24 photovoltaic cell module strings into one or multiple outputs, each with a fuse, and the outputs are equipped with lightning arresters and circuit breakers, greatly simplifying the input wiring of DC distribution cabinets and inverters. Provide lightning protection, short-circuit protection, and grounding protection. The combiner box is divided into two types: intelligent and non intelligent. The intelligent lightning protection combiner box is equipped with a combiner monitoring unit inside, which can monitor the input current of each photovoltaic cell string, summarize the output voltage, temperature inside the box, and the status of lightning protection devices, circuit breakers, etc.
The internal layout of the device is simple and clear, with neat and reasonable wiring. High reliability and easy maintenance. Outdoor wall mounted installation can adapt to various harsh environments. In addition to related core components, others can be customized according to user requirements.
Functional features
● The protection level of the combiner box reaches IP65, with waterproof, dust-proof, rust proof, and salt spray resistant properties, meeting the requirements for outdoor installation;
● The positive and negative poles of each battery string are equipped with photovoltaic specific fuses to protect the module string in case of failure. The fuse base and fuses are used together to reduce the maintenance costs of the owner in the later stage and effectively protect the personal safety of maintenance personnel;
● The use of photovoltaic dedicated high-voltage lightning arrester can protect the positive and negative poles of the busbar after convergence, and the continuous working voltage (Uc) can reach 1000VDC;
● The power module inside the combiner box can be connected to a photovoltaic voltage of up to 1000DCV;
● The measurement and control module of the combiner box adopts reliable Honeywell Hall elements (DC CT sensors) to collect, monitor, alarm, and locate local faults in the current and bus voltage of each photovoltaic string. It can also measure the temperature inside the combiner box, detect the status of lightning arresters and output circuit breakers, etc;
● The monitoring module inside the combiner box has digital display function, which can display the current, bus voltage, temperature inside the combiner box, status of circuit breakers and lightning arresters, system power, and equipment address of each component string on the device;
● Capable of RS485/MODBUS-RTU serial communication;
● Both have lightning protection for external interfaces;
● Capable of receiving parameter downloads from local monitoring devices for analysis and processing;
● The working power supply of the combiner box can be selected from external 220VAC/DC or the power supply provided by the combiner box itself. If the power supply is provided by the combiner box itself, there is no need for separate wiring for power supply on site.
