YBM-12 prefabricated substation is a domestically produced American style box transformer. As an important power supply unit in cable based distribution networks, this product is a complete pre installed product that integrates high-voltage control, protection, substation, and distribution equipment. It is widely used in urban and rural distribution networks.
This product places the high-voltage load switch and high-voltage fuse in the transformer oil, and has two structural forms: sharing or splitting with the transformer body. The oil tank adopts a fully sealed structure and is equipped with components such as oil temperature gauge, oil level gauge, pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, oil drain valve, etc. to monitor the operation status of the transformer. This product is divided into ring network type, terminal type, and power supply type. In order to make this product more suitable for the actual requirements of China's power grid, the company has also promoted plug-in dry-type fuses, whose melting does not affect the performance of transformer oil. According to the complexity of low-voltage feed out requirements, YB.12/0.4 products are divided into three types of shell forms: standard, reinforced, and comprehensive, allowing users and design units to achieve more flexibility and economy in selection.

Structural characteristics
● The box shell skeleton structure is made of channel steel and angle steel, with high mechanical strength. The outer shell is made of materials such as aluminum alloy plate, with a smooth and flat surface. The product is beautiful and elegant, and has good anti-corrosion performance. The base of the box is 300-600mm higher than the foundation.
● All doors of the cabinet shell open outward at an angle greater than 90 ° and are equipped with positioning devices. And equipped with handles, hidden doors, and hidden locks that can prevent rain, blockage, and rust. The boxes are all fully sealed anti-theft structures; To ensure that the temperature of all electrical equipment does not exceed its maximum allowable temperature when operating at normal ambient air temperatures, the enclosure does not have sufficient natural ventilation openings and insulation measures.
● The box of the prefabricated substation is equipped with a dedicated grounding conductor, which has fixed connection terminals connected to the grounding grid. There are at least two of them with obvious grounding marks. The grounding terminal shall be a copper bolt with a diameter of not less than 12mm. The grounding conductor adopts steel strip, with a current density of not more than 200A/mm2 and a cross-sectional area of not less than 30mm2, and ensures that no overheating or impact on the safety of surrounding objects occurs when the maximum short-circuit current flows.
